Figure and costume

The assignment was to find a pose of a figure and then a separate photo of a costume and combine them. These are the photos I based her from. (The costume is Irulan’s, found in the film Children of Dune)

And my drawing. It’s called “Lyra and the Aeronaut.” I just finished reading The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman, so this is Lyra and Pantaliamon (as a moth) with Lee Scoresby and his balloon in the background. You won’t find this particular scene in the book as Lyra was only with Lee in the Arctic regions, but I thought it would be a neat idea for something that may have occurred in the other books.
