Okay, so I was wandering around online and ran across a mention of this different keyboard layout that is faster, more accurate and some consider it to be better than Dvorak, which in turn (I already knew) is better that Qwerty. Colemak takes the Qwerty arrangement, shuffles 17 of the letters so the most used letters are actually on the home row and replaces Caps Lock with backspace. So far it is easy to install on both OS X and Windows XP. I’ve begun running through their typing lessons. Just to compare speeds, once I’ve finished learning, I took a quick 1 minute typing test with Qwerty  and averaged about 55-60 wpm.
