Total Lunar Eclipse 2008

Wednesday night was the last total lunar eclipse North America will see til 2010. Here are my best photos taken with a 3.1 megapixel camera and no tripod. This was taken at 10:07, just before totality.

Mostly dark
This next was about half-way through totality at 10:20pm. Notice Regulus (a bright star in Leo) to the right, and Saturn on the left.

And this photo taken much later at 11:50pm. While these were all grainy due to the lower quality/resolution/ISO of my camera, this one is probably the best of the 50 some-odd photos I took of the event.

Your photos of the eclipse are much better than mine.
